Actually, there is no such thing. This web page was designed by Mr. Alicia Earle Renner, a chronic Jack-of-all-trades whose only reward for this labor is a new nickname, "Beaker!" He's a loveably geeky Muppets character so I suppose it could be worse.

This is a first-time web page, created with the help of a few of the Peachpit Press Visual Quick-Start books they had in our local Borders bookstore:

An Internet story with a happy ending!

In our long-term plan to get this site running, we had registered the domain name AERPHOTOGRAPHY.COM back in 2003. We never found out why, but it expired a year earlier than we expected and was picked up by one of those automated domain collectors that "harvest" expired domains. After searching the Internet for similar experiences and a solution, I came across an article describing someone else's experience with an internet-based company that conducts its business with integrity. Lucky for us, it was the same outfit that had obtained our domain. It took some doing (lots of emails) but NETSTER.COM a search engine that is also affiliated with the Domain Name Registrar ITSYOURDOMAIN.COM returned the name to us AT NO CHARGE other than the conventional fee to register it again for the next two years. We were both grateful and impressed, and can recommend doing business with them. (All of our domain names have been registered through ITSYOURDOMAIN.) I encountered several more stories without the happy ending (i.e., exorbitant "transfer" fees or flat-out refusal to release the domain), so be careful out there!
