Alicia Earle Renner was given her first SLR at the age of twelve by her father on Christmas day. The modest camera served two purposes: it was a "the best present ever" for the precocious teen and it finally made her stop stealing her dad's camera. She has been a dedicated photographer ever since. Alicia studied Visual Communications at Ohio University and graduated from its College of Fine Arts.
